I just realized that I haven't updated since Heather got home, but she's been home since Thursday afternoon. PLEASE let me know if you have any questions...(If you need Heather and Craig's address, directions, etc--call, text, or email me as I don't want to put out their address on the Internet!)

***Update as of 3/25***

Waiting on word of Heather's discharge...they papers were written last night for her to come home today! Keep those prayers and positive thoughts coming her way!!! As you may have noticed, the meal schedule for the next week is filled up. If they decide to continue meals for next week, I'll update...if not, that is good news because it means she is well on her way to a speedy recovery!
If you want to be put on call, just shoot me an email or text and I'll update again tomorrow after I get back home...

***UPDATE AS OF 3/24***
Heather is out of ICU and is in a regular room at St.Luke's for now. She MAY come home tomorrow (3/25)...we'll keep you posted!!


All went well w/surgery yesterday. Heather is in the ICU for now and we're hopeful she'll be out of there by sometime tomorrow. Thinking is that the earliest she'll be home is Friday. Thinking of starting meals on Friday, but having a person on standby as a helper beginning on Monday as Craig will be home w/her all weekend.
Please contact me via e-mail, facebook, phonecall or text message to "sign-up". There has been an abundance of people willing to help, but I'm only going to schedule for one week and see how Heather and Craig are feeling...they may want to return to normalcy as Heather starts to feel better. They have stated that they are thankful for any meal provided for them, they aren't picky. However, Craig is Catholic and may prefer that if you are doing either of the Friday meals, to do them meat-free as it is Lent. Please be specific w/what you will prepare so as to have no overlaps.
If you want to be an on-call helper--Heather may just need a person to swing by for a bit so she can shower, get a little help w/Payton, have someone pick up a few groceries, etc...please leave a contact number if you think Heather doesn't have your phone number!!!
Please be patient w/me if I haven't update the schedule in a few hours...I am in PA now and not always at my laptop as I usually am when I'm at home!

Hi All:

As you all know by now, Heather's surgery is scheduled for 3/22 (next Monday). It looks like she'll be in the hospital for 4-5 days, so I'm thinking of tentatively starting meals on Thursday with a possible slide to Friday if need be.
